Sugna Metals Ltd., was floated by the Agarwal Family who are highly experienced in the steels since 1980 under the able leadership of the dynamic Director, Mr. Bharat Kumar Agarwal and under his guidance and leadership0 it started its operations in 2008 at Pargi Village (near Hyderabad) R.R. District, Telangana, by putting up its first unit of the induction furnace of 25 metric tonne capacity with 2 stands of Con-Cast to produce the best quality M.S. Billets.
The Company expanded its wings of forward integration by putting up a Rolling Mill in the year 2010. This short span of 1 year, after the e3stablishment of Concept to Commissioning shows the determination, efficiency and the expertise of the management. The Rolling Mill started its operation in November 2011, and is one of its kind, the most modern unit, both technically and advanced in the entire private sectors of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
It is for the first time in the entire South India that Sugna Metals Ltd. has introduced the wide range of TMT bars ranging from 8mm to 40mm
The Induction Furnace
It is a given fact that TMT produced with Billet is more Superior than any other Raw Material. Sugna Metals Ltd. has the full fledged manufacturing facility with an induction Furnace of 25 metric tonne capacity with 2 stands of Con-Cast to produce the finest and best quality M.S. Billets. The unit is fully advanced and is equipped laboratory which is headed by well qualified and experienced core team to analyze the raw material and conduct various tests at different stages to given better quality.
Fully Automated Rolling Mill
Sugna Steel Processing Plant is the biggest and fully automated, controlled by P.L.C. (Programmable Logical Controlled) with the capacity to produce 2 lakh metric tonne TMT per annum.
Sugna Rolling Mill is equipped with 15 stands, viz., one 3-Hi Stand and 14 others 2-Hi Continuous Stands with suitable AC and DC electrical drives. The plant has a Re-Heating Furnace with a capacity of producing 35 metric Tonnes per Hour and has a width of about 8 mtrs.
